How Long Does a Sewer Line Replacement Take?
Sewer Line
The fear of being without a working bathroom for days stops many people from scheduling necessary repairs. The reality is usually less scary than you think.
The Timeline
- Diagnosis (1-2 Hours): Camera inspection to locate the break.
- Permitting (1-3 Days): Depending on your city, we need approval before digging. (Emergency work can often start immediately).
- The Work (1-3 Days): Trenchless is usually completed in 1 day. Excavation usually takes 2-4 days depending on depth.
Note: During the actual repair hours, you cannot use water. We usually restore partial service at night if the job spans multiple days.
